His expertise includes Machine Learning & Deep Learning. He is the co-recipient of BWF funding for the 2023-24 research grant cycle.

Sudarsan Acharya is Assistant Professor & program coordinator for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Manipal School of Information Sciences. He did his MSc. from the University of Erlangen, Germany, & MS from Stanford University, USA in Computational & Mathematical Engineering. He was faculty at Stanford University & is currently doing his Ph.D. from Stanford University. He is the recipient of BWF funding for the 2023-24 research grant cycle.

Dr. U C Niranjan has 35+ years of experience in the industry & academia. He was previously the Director of R & D at Manipal.Net, working on cutting edge computational software, embedded software, IoT, & engineering. Prior to that he was Asst. Professor at Manipal Institute of Technology for 20+ years & more recently as Adjunct Professor at ECE Departments MIT Manipal, MITE Moodabidre, SMVITM Bantakal, NMAMIT Nitte, SCEM Mangalore. He has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engg. from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore & Masters from National Institute of Technology Karnataka NITK. He is the recipient of IEEE EMBS best student paper award (1992) at Paris, Young Achiever paper award at ISCE Arizona (1996) & Distinguished Alumnus awardee NITK (2019).
